Initial Call
- Concept – Learn about project vision
- Pricing – Explanation of transparent pricing
- Alignment – Ensure rough budget and timeline expectations are reasonable
- Vision – Explanation of design / pre-construction process to ensure we are a good fit
- Visit – Book on-site consultation if we seem like a good fit for the prospect
On-Site Consultation
- Exploration – Go through the space together and discuss the client’s vision in more detail
- Study – Designer attends to take notes and preliminary measurements
- Planning – Plan structural details, routing of utilities, and options for client to consider
Proposal
- Summary – Includes a preliminary outline, which gives us an informal scope of work
- Explanation – Detailed line by line estimate with transparent costing
Pre-Construction Agreement
- Design – Includes floor plans of proposed layout, 3D floor plan perspectives, detailed 3D renderings (if desired), selection of all finishes and paint colours, lighting plan, design presentation including physical samples where possible
- Engineering – Includes structural engineering, HVAC/mechanical design, electrical engineering, geotechnical engineering (soil testing), surveys, etc
- Revise Estimate – After design and engineering are complete, we provide a design specifications package which includes a revised estimate to reflect any scope changes that occurred
- Drafting – Remaining technical drawings and details required to complete architectural plan set
- Permit – Apply and obtain permit
Construction Contract
1. Officialize – Contract for on-site construction that is based on the specifications of the design package and estimates produced during the pre-construction phase
Project Completion
- Quality Assurance – Review of any deficiencies upon completion for client sign-off
- Corrections – Address any deficiencies in a timely manner
- Warranty – 2-year warranty
- Finishing – Complimentary cleaning
- Marketing – Promotional photos
